Workshop

Within the framework of the New Media Changes Society section, we are preparing a special workshop focusing on the strategic use of video, new media and modern technologies while working in the area of transparency, corruption, human rights and democracy. The theoretical and practical part of this workshop will focus primarily on helping representatives of non-governmental organisations to transform project ideas into a specific form with the assistance of experienced foreign instructors.

For this reason, to participate in this training it is necessary to submit a brief project proposal. Afterwards, the best of the materials assembled will be selected and their submitters will be invited to the training.  For a better idea of what is meant by the terms video activism, video advocacy, and new media, please visit the website dedicated to the workshop programme.

The training will take place in Prague on 7-12 March 2011, and it will be conducted in English. In view of our limited capacity, only one representative per organisation will be able to attend.

Project is organized in collaboration with the Open Society Fund Prague within the program Transparency and Public Accountability.

Project is supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
